La degustazione di un vino, di un buon rum, di una birra o di un frizzante champagne è un rito che prende vita attraverso il susseguirsi di determinati passaggi, primo tra tutti l’azione di stappare la bottiglia. Un atto che spesso passa inosservato o in secondo piano, ma che rappresenta l’inizio di un percorso che comprende tradizione, natura, cultura, convivialità, esperienze, vita. Aprire una bottiglia è sempre un incontro, ed è proprio il tappo a rappresentare il momento di quest’incontro. Ispirati dai nostri prodotti abbiamo deciso di fare una piccola ricerca, a cui ha fatto seguito la realizzazione pratica della stessa. Abbiamo considerato i dati ufficiali dell’anno 2015 relativi alla durata media di vita di un italiano e li abbiamo incrociati con quelli riguardanti il consumo medio di alcool. Il risultato ci ha permesso di creare un pannello, sul quale abbiamo rappresentato con i tappi l’esatto numero di bottiglie che stappiamo nell’arco della nostra vita, divise per tipologia di bevanda alcolica: vino rosso, vino bianco, vino frizzante, birre e distillati. Pensando che potesse essere un fun fact curioso da condividere, abbiamo visivamente espresso il risultato della nostra ricerca, e questo ne è il prodotto!

The project

Tasting a wine, a good rum, a beer or a sparkling champagne is a rite which begins through the succession of determined passages, first of all the action of opening the bottle. An act that often goes unnoticed or in the background, but which represents the beginning of a journey which talks about tradition, culture, conviviality, experiences, life. Uncorking a bottle is a meeting, and it is exactly the closure which represents this meeting. Because we are inspired by our products, we decided to do a research, succeed by a practical realization of it. We considered the Italian average life span for the year 2015 and we cross-checked the data with those related to the average years of alcohol consumption. The result allowed us to create a panel in which we represented the exact number of bottles that we uncork during our entire life, divided by the kind of beverage: red wine, white wine, sparkling wine, beers and spirits. We thought that this fun fact was curious enough to share, so we visually expressed the result of our research, and this is the product of that!
